Candid Portraits: Weekend Photography Challenge

Article from Digital Photography School

This week we posted a tutorial on candid photography so I thought it might make a good theme for our weekly challenge.

Your challenge is to take and share some candid portraits. Feel free to do it any way that suits you – you might hit the streets for some street portraits, you might take your camera to a party or family gathering for some shots there – or you might like to just photograph the family around the home over the weekend. It’s totally up to you.

Once you’ve taken and selected the ‘Candid Portrait’ image that you’d like to share – upload it to your favourite photo sharing site or blog and either share a link to it or – embed them in the comments using our embed tool to do so.

If you tag your photos on Flickr, Instagram, Twitter or other sites with Tagging tag them as #DPSCANDID to help others find them. Linking back to this page might also help others know what you’re doing so that they can share in the fun.

Also – don’t forget to check out some of the great shots posted in last weeks challenge – Freestyle challenge where there were some great shots submitted.
